About Us

Born and raised in Durham, NC, our founder Rahshan Brewer, fondly remembers enjoying Italian Ice with friends and family during the long, hot Durham summers. What began as a childhood love for the icy treat evolved into a family business idea that came to fruition after Rahshan's four year old son was diagnosed with a brain tumor in 2016. The unexpectedness and severity of the diagnosis inspired Rahshan to create and build a legacy that he could leave to his son while simultaneously providing mentorship to other young men in the community.

Rahshan is a husband and father first and believes it is of the utmost importance to inspire and motivate others to strive for success and entrepreneurship while maintaining a sense of integrity.

Brewer's Italian Ice, LLC is the culmination of one man's passion for food, family, and the community he grew up in. Directly imported from Little Jimmy's Italian Ice in New Jersey.
